* Taking out water from pond and cleaning (Day 1).
* Drying of the pond (Day 1-7 depending on weather condition).
*Application of 100% pure VERMI COMPOST at the bottom of the pond @ 50-100 gm./sq.m. (Day 8, after drying of pond).
* Filling up water about 1 meter depth (Day 13 or 14).
* Allow of the water for growing planktons for 7 days (i.e. up to day 20).
* If there is not enough water level, wait until it gets the expected water level (at least 2 meter). If it takes 2 days, then wait for 7 days for planktons growth. It takes more days (about 15-20 days) then see the water colour for the population of planktons. If the population of planktons are good then start introducing fish seed immediately. Otherwise, wait till the planktons grow sufficiently.
* Apply 800 grams of VERMI COMPOST every day for first 3 days for 720 sq. ft. water area.
FEED AND FEED MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES :
Feeding schedules and percentange feed distribution 3 times/day & 4 times/day.
Example A : 3 times/day from 24th day after launching to 60th day after launching/720 sq.ft. water area basis feed rationing.

Feed VERMI COMPOST to the prawn seedings from 2nd day after launching to 24th day after launching @ 1 Kg./100 thousand seeds/day.
No need of areators.
No need to exchange the water.
The whole package will vary with climatic conditions (temperature, pH of water etc.).
ASSESSMENT OF YIELD POTENTIAL :
There is no formula evolved as yet to assess yield potential of reservoirs. The following formula applied for assessment of MEI of African Lake may be used.

P can be estimated through MEI method and the range of mortality rates can be found out from the estimated survival rate.
